Shafer - Sarah

Mrs. Sarah Shafer, relict of Daniel Shafer, died Saturday morning at 6:30 o’clock of pneumonia at her home nine miles east of this city. She had been sick only about a week and her advanced age contributed to making her illness a fatal one. The funeral occurred from the home Monday morning at 11 o’clock.
Mrs. Sarah Shafer was one of the most highly respected women of the county and her noble Christian life has been an inspiration and a guide to her children and friends. She leaves the following children, all of this county: Mrs. Abe Caster, James Shafer, Lant Shafer, Mrs. Sherman Trout, Samuel Shafer, Joseph Shafer, and Mrs. Bruce Luckett. -s
